Olá a tod@s! Como foi o fim de semana? Espero que bom!

Como hoje é o dia Mundial da Arquitectura deixo aqui três projectos de arquitectos portugueses.

Estes projectos são exemplos da boa arquitectura que se faz em Portugal. São de alguns dos arquitectos que mais gosto e com os quais me identifico!

Hi everyone! How was your weekend? I hope it was great!

Here we are for another week and as today is World Day of Architecture I leave here three projects of Portuguese architects.
These projects are good examples of architecture that is made in Portugal. They are some of the architects that I like and with whom I identify!

O Teatro e Auditório em Poitiers, França do arquitecto João Luís Carrilho da Graça é um bom exemplo de como se pode relacionar bem a arquitectura tradicional, neste caso construída na época romana, com a arquitectura contemporânea.

O projecto realça a ideia da Acrópole através da suspensão de dois volumes rectangulares de luz, correspondentes ao auditório e teatro, colocados sobre uma plataforma com vista para o vale.

Acredito que para algumas pessoas posso ser um edifício polémico pelas “linhas direitas” em contraste com a envolvente, mas acho que mais uma vez este arquitecto fez um excelente projecto. Uma marca portuguesa lá fora!

Theater and Auditorium in Poitiers, France by the architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça is a good example of how to well relate the traditional architecture, in this case built in Roman times, with contemporary architecture.
The project emphasizes the idea of the Acropolis through the suspension of two light rectangular volumes, corresponding to the auditorium and theater, laid on a platform overlooking the valley.
I think for some people the building can be controversial with the "straight lines" in contrast with the surroundings, but I think again this architect did an excellent project. A Portuguese brand out there!

A Vodafone mais uma vez aposta na arquitectura contemporânea e só por isso está de parabéns! O edifício do Porto já ganhou inúmeros prémios e, tal como o de Lisboa, é um marco na cidade. Não passa despercebido a quem passa na Avenida da Boavista. Todo em betão à vista este edifício pode não ter sido de fácil execução mas já faz parte dos roteiros turísticos da cidade.

Vodafone once again bet on contemporary architecture and for that alone needs to be congratulated! The Oporto Headquarters has already won numerous awards and such as the Lisbon building is a city landmark. Don’t pass unnoticed by those who are passing by on Avenida da Boavista. All exposed concrete in this building may not have been easy to perform but now it is part of the city tours.

A Adega Mayor em Campo de Maior pertence aos cafés Delta e foi projectada por um arquitecto que dispensa apresentações – Álvaro Siza Vieira é um dos grandes nomes da arquitectura portuguesa e mundial. A linguagem usada no projecto da adega denuncia o seu autor, dono de uma pureza de traço, este edifício marca e acentua as planícies alentejanas. The Mayor Winery in Campo Mayor belongs to Delta cafes and was designed by an architect who needs no introduction - Alvaro Siza Vieira is one of the greatest names in Portuguese architecture that is known all over the world. The language used in the project betrays its author, owner of a purity line, this building brand and emphasizes the Alentejo plains.
