Respeitando o lugar e as pré-existências, o Atelier Ábaton,
maioritariamente, a água, ferro, cimento e a pedra existente.
A former stable in the province of Caceres, Spain, gives rise to a family
home.
Respecting the place and pre-existing, Atelier Abaton, proposes to open a
central space for the living room and kitchen, around which are arranged the
various bedrooms.
The materials used, were mainly, water, iron, concrete and the pre-existing stone.
In the courtyard where is the fountain, the water flows naturally from a rock,
helping to cool the house in the hot summer months. One of the agricultural
terraces becomes a natural swimming pool, where the water flows constantly and also
serves to irrigation fields.
A very nice retreat in the middle of the Sierra de Gredos.
