desenvolvimento do interior desta loja em Mumbai, India. O “cálice” em acrílico posicionado na zona
central da loja é o resultado dessa pesquisa e confere movimento ao ambiente.

the notions of soft form with the human body in motion arises the idea for
developing the interior of this store in Mumbai, India. The " chalice "

O desejo era ter um apartamento
aconchegante e à sua medida, onde o jovem casal apaixonado por obras de arte e
literatura se pudesse sentir em casa. O resultado foi um apartamento onde os
quadros e livros são os elementos centrais da decoração em tons sóbrios e
neutros.
Adeptos de receber os amigos em casa, a cozinha foi integrada na sala
facilitando o convívio, as portas de madeira fecham-se apenas quando é
necessário.
Gosto de cozinhas que comunicam com a sala, mas para mim as portas de
correr são fundamentais para quando queremos separar os espaços! O que acham?

The desire was to have a cozy apartment, where the
young couple in love with art pieces and literature could feel at home. The
result was an apartment where the paintings and books are the central elements
of the neutral and sober décor.
Fans of receiving friends at home, the kitchen was built in the living room with the aiming to facilitate conversations, wooden doors close only when it is necessary.
I like kitchens that communicate with the living, but for me the sliding doors are key when we want to separate the spaces! What do you think?

Bom dia e boa semana!! Como foi o fim de semana? Espero que
nada menos que óptimo!
O tema de hoje são recantos e nichos. Acho que são uma óptima
maneira de aproveitar espaços que à partida não tinham utilidade,
transformando-os em recantos interessantes onde podemos colocar peças em
destaque. Podem ser usados para expor colecções de louça, livros e esculturas,
onde a iluminação se torna essencial. Para dar mais enfase aos nichos pode-se
sempre revesti-los ou pinta-los de cor diferente do restante espaço.
Contem-me, têm nichos em casa? Eu infelizmente não tenho,
mas adorava ver os vossos!!

The theme of today are nooks and niches. I think they are a great way to avail the spaces that had no use, turning them into interesting corners where we can put featured pieces . They can be used to expose collections of dinnerware, books and sculptures, here lighting is essential. To give more emphasis to the niches you can always coat them or paint it with a different colour from the rest of space.
